Are you tired of ordering 3D printed car parts and being disappointed with the fit, finish, and quality, to the point where the part is completely useless? You’ll never have to worry about that with our parts! Not only are all of our parts designed in-house, but we extensively test fit and tweak our prototypes until the design mimics or even exceeds OEM quality. This is our new, streamlined and much easier to understand E36 USB charger listing. All of our USB options are fully enclosed and vented, keeping the part safe from both electrical shorts and overheating. They also use our circuit board retainer system, which locks the charger to the housing and makes it impossible for the internals to fall out of the back of the housing. Best of all, all of our chargers are direct plug-n-play! Many other USB chargers on the market don’t have these features, making them not only dangerous to install (if you have no wiring experience), but dangerous to use as the board can fall out behind the dash and potentially cause tons of electrical damage.

Not only do you get safety and peace of mind with us, but you also get eight USB charger options. Your options are:

Single USB – We discontinued our original slow charging USB board for standalone chargers, our most basic option is now a fast charging single USB outlet that supports QC2.0 and QC3.0. It can fast charge most smart devices!

Single USB + Rocker Switch – This option is for people who want both one of our rocker switches and our chargers, but only have dash space for one. The switch is meant to be used to turn on and off any aftermarket electrical parts, like an electric fan. The board charges pretty slowly, but it’s the only thing that will fit in the space along with a switch.

Dual USB – These chargers are rated for 15W with 3A peak and 2.1A sustained charging. They have overcurrent, thermal, and short-circuit protections built in.* Note: this is our only non-fast charging option. We highly recommend any of our other options for charging most modern devices.

USB-C (charger) – Our single USB-C chargers are where things start getting serious. They support several SFC (Super fast charging) protocols and can get most devices from 0% to 100% in the ballpark of an hour.

USB-C (data) – This option looks the same as the USB-C charger when installed in the car, but instead of being a standalone charger, it connects to the back of your head unit. This allows you to not only charge your phone, but also share data, such as music, navigation, and more between your phone and head unit. It does the same thing as the USB extension cord that comes with many head units you’re supposed to run to your glovebox but looks and functions much better. An additional USB cable is required to hook up to the head unit.

Dual USB-C – These chargers are the real deal; they can charge at a mind-boggling amount of fast charging protocols, including QC3.0, QC2.0, Huawei SCP/FCP, Samsung AFC, Spreadtrum SFCP, and more. Unlike most dual chargers, both outlets can fast charge simultaneously. Also unlike most chargers, which send a set voltage and amperage, these smart chargers will communicate with your device and safely send the ideal amount of power.

Dual USB + USB-C – Very technically similar to the dual USB-C charger, but with one normal and one C USB outlet. the C outlet is SFC capable, but the normal USB outlet can only normal fast charge (which is still really fast honestly).

In addition to the USB charger style, we have a few optional customization options available. If you’re good with electrical work and want to install the charger in a different spot (by default, plugs into the factory cigarette lighter), we can send the charger without the connectors, with longer or shorter wiring, or both! Also, all chargers will be black and match the OEM dash texture and color by default, but several optional colors are possible. Please message us *before* ordering if you want a custom color to see if your preferred color is available. Both our black and color options are printed in the highest quality ASA plastic possible. All parts are extremely strong, temperature resistant, and UV resistant.
