Did you upgrade your Breville / Sage Barista grinder? Are you tired of staring at your empty hopper wasting space on the top of your machine? The FusedLine Grinder Cap with Integrated Safety Lock Trigger is the perfect solution for you.

The grinder cap is the perfect solution for those who no longer use the built-in grinder in their Breville / Sage Barista or Oracle. It seamlessly integrates with your Breville / Sage Barista built-in grinder using an engineered locking ring to secure the cap in place and engage the safety lock to allow the machine to operate without a hopper. Simply twist the cap clockwise to lock it in, and counterclockwise if you’d ever like to remove it. It’s extremely low profile (3mm to be exact) gives your machine a sleek look while providing an abundance of open space on the top of the machine. Warm your cups, weigh your beans, or store any number of your espresso accessories up and out of the way of your other morning rituals.

By ordering this product, you will receive a lock ring (orange piece) and a hopper cap (black or metallic gray piece).

To install the grinder cap onto your machine:

1. Remove the original hopper from your machine and clean all old beans and grounds from the grinder. A vacuum cleaner works best. It is essential that the grinder inlet is free from all beans and grounds to ensure a secure fit. Note: Do not use water to clean the grinder as this can rust your grinder burrs.

2. Insert the orange locking ring by aligning the tabs with the slots in your grinder inlet. Ensure that the cap (black or silver part) is not connected to the orange locking ring at this time. Push the locking ring down firmly to ensure it is fully inserted.

3. Insert the cap (black or silver part) into the orange locking ring by aligning the tabs with the slots in the locking ring. Press down to ensure the cap is fully inserted. Next, twist the cap clockwise until you feel a click and the cap will not twist any further. This will engage the grinder safety trigger and allow your machine to operate as normal.

The cap sits 0.12″ (3mm) above the top of the machine. This is significantly lower than the stock hopper that comes with the machine.
