Prevent cable damage and connection issues with this specially designed strain relief for Blackmagic Design Directional Micro Converters. Compatible with both 3G and 12G variants, this strain relief works exclusively with the original Blackmagic USB-C power adapter.

Many users of these converters are familiar with the problem: USB-C cables coming loose or getting damaged from improper handling. With this strain relief, that’s a thing of the past. The cable is securely fastened to the converter, while an opening ensures the power indicator light remains visible. There is a longer screw supplied with every piece, because the original one is too short for this application.

Please note that you may need to temporarily unscrew the strain relief when adjusting the device’s settings, as the power adapter does not have a USB connection on both ends.

Note: Not compatible with older Micro Converters (1.5G) that use a micro-USB connection.
