Before purchasing, I made sure to read the description and even reached out to the seller to confirm compatibility with my operating system (High Sierra), just to be safe. I wasn’t sure if High Sierra was still considered a “newer” system compared to Catalina, and I wanted to avoid buying something that might not work. While the item itself does work as expected, I have to mention that the response I received from the seller came off as a bit rude the response had attitude. A simple yes or no would have been appreciated instead of the attitude. Product gets 5 stars, but the customer service experience brings it down to 4 for me. He has two shops and is the only shop that sells this item.
Hi I decided to chime in here folks. You know in this world we have so many people that can take things very wrong. I am not a rude person and my response was to her message asking if her computer would work with this version: Here was my exact response below.
“Hi as stated in the listing and the listing photos it shows it’s compatible with the following. So yes it does work with high sierra thanks.” Mac OS X Version http://10.6.3 (Snow Leopard) or Newer but no later than http://10.14 Mojave.
Now if that comes off to a person as rude then that person’s perception is definitely off and that’s ok. But they are entitled to their opinions. I don’t deal in negativity. And I am human after all. She admitted the drive and it worked great.So Go figure 😉
